How Now Brown Cow

Today was the first time I visited my friend Kaila's farm.  She lives in Little Rock, Washington where she raises cows among other things. I am so lucky that I have such amazing, fun and unique friends.  Do any of your friends have a taxidermy raccoon in their garage? Didn't think so :)
I think the worst part is that it "lurks" on top of the refrigerator

My First run in with a cow... but not my last
Who you lookin' at?

There's nothing "pie" like about this it.... ha! Kaila let me know that the greener the grass the mushier the poo, keep that information in your back pocket.... :)

Summer Solstice Parade!

I love a good street fair and I always look forward to the annual Fremont Fair.  This was my first year seeing the parade and an eclectic group showed up to strut their stuff.  Nothing surprises me in Seattle :)

Got myself a front row seat! Those are my fab plastic green Melissas
Nothing kicks off a parade like some topless ladies!
Taking green to the next levels                                     Love the costume

Not So Fabulous Life of An Intern!

Today I began my first official Public Relations internship.

It's amazing that earning my degree has decreased my level of fabulous-ness exponentially.

Downgrade #1 transportation: My little car and parking the luxury of a parking garage have been replaced by the Metro Bus,
#2 Sassy high heels that pinch my toes are traded for a practical pair of flats that I can tromp the five blocks from the bus stop to work and
#3 My well paid nanny job for an unpaid internship... devastating!

9. LiLash Purified Eyelash Stimulator 5.32ml / 0.18oz - $90
10.  Andrea Mod Lashes Style 33 Black: Beauty - $3.49.

I can always find a way to justify spending money on products... I know it sounds ridiculous but I just love them! I cant help myself when it comes to a new leave in conditioner, self tanner or MAC product. I am always searching for the next best thing and these are my some of my favorites for lashes!

I strongly believe that eye lashes can make or break... your face :)

Think every one should find a mascara they love.  For me I always think the blacker the better and no matter what anyone tells you, not all blacks are alike. At the moment my favorite mascara is Maybelline Colossal. I usually keep an older one around that I use as a primer and a fresher one to finish it off.  This layering creates volume I have not been able to find anywhere else.

When I am treating myself I will buy Dior Black Out, the darkest carbon black ever! While it can dry out quickly, you can extend its life by covering the opening with your thumb when the cap is off.

When mascara is not enough, fake eye lashes are a great way to make yourself look instantly more fabulous.  On my college budget I always use Mod Lash but Makeup For Ever lashes are the best!

Post graduation splurge: Lilash!
I can't wait to try it out.

Six weeks and counting!

Today I visited the grad fair where I was adorned with my cap and gown. Actually I was allowed the privileged of renting a smelly used gown with shoulder pads for $40 but the cap is all mine!

There are certain things I just wouldn't feel right leaving Pullman without accomplishing. So at the beginning of this semester I created a Pullman bucket list. So far I have I still need to complete...

1. Eating at South Forks: a new Pullman restaurant where I will order a Reuben Holy delicious!

2. Take a picture in front of the "Go Cougs" barn.

3. Visit the fine establishment Denny's and sample there exotic selection of wells drinks... while it is still socially acceptable

4. Taco Tuesday at the ZZU

5. Bike, roller blade, run or walk the Pullman to Moscow trail... Obvi gotta work on my fitness

6. Drink something out of the Wiley's glass I inherited

7. And order spicy green beans in the Thai ginger bar!
